There Are Coaching Classes. And then There Is Courtroom by TLOI. Most coaching centres teach you how to solve questions. We train you to think like a lawyer. Courtroom by TLOI Academy isn’t an edtech brand. It’s an institute built from scratch, one student at a time, one class at a time — and over the years, it has produced more than 2,000 lawyers who now study and work across India’s top law schools, firms, and courts. We don’t spend on ads. We don’t chase enrollments. Every student who joins us comes through word of mouth, trust, and legacy. Our YouTube channel — Courtroom by TLOI — has crossed 1 lakh organic subscribers, built without a single paid advertisement. Every lecture, every reel, every idea reflects the same belief that built this academy: Law is not a subject. It’s a way of seeing the world clearly.
The Teaching Legacy Begins with a Story and an E-Book
Before the first classroom, before the YouTube milestones, there was 2019 — the year TLOI cracked the code of Current Affairs. That year, The Observer and Legal Eagle, our in-house e-books, became overnight sensations among CLAT, AILET, and DULLB aspirants. Thousands of students discovered that law entrances could be understood, not memorized. TLOI’s crisp, conceptual and time-saving format changed how India prepared for law exams — setting a new benchmark for clarity and relevance. That digital revolution laid the foundation for everything that followed. From e-books to classrooms, from YouTube to national rank-1s, Courtroom by TLOI became synonymous with substance over noise.
In 2020, a young student named Anand Shankar walked into our first-ever online classroom.
No brand name, no marketing, just a small board and a teacher — Sahaj Arora — who believed that education had to be real again.
That year, Anand cracked AILET 2020 and joined NLU Delhi, becoming the first student in TLOI history to make it to India’s most prestigious law school.
That story became our foundation. Since then, we’ve built a track record that speaks for itself:
NLSAT 2022 – Rank 1 (Ayushi Jain)
NLSAT 2024 – Rank 1 (Meher Pandey)
NLSAT 2025 – Rank 1 (Ramsha Farhan) Three Rank 1s in the 3-Year LL.B. entrance of NLSIU Bangalore — the toughest, most intellectually demanding law exam in India.
And this is no accident. The NLSAT paper is CLAT in its purest form — a reading and reasoning test that demands analytical depth, speed, and clarity. We have mastered this format across CLAT, AILET, NLSAT, and even UPSC’s analytical reasoning sections. That’s why when we teach you CLAT or AILET, we’re not teaching you “a syllabus.” We’re teaching you how to think like a lawyer before you even become one.
About the Mentor –
Sahaj Arora Founder of Courtroom by TLOI Academy, Sahaj Arora’s journey is anything but ordinary. Educated at Sanskriti School, the London School of Economics (International Programme), and Faculty of Law, Delhi University (LC-I), Sahaj entered the legal education world after working in consulting firms. But he left the corporate treadmill early — not to chase success, but to chase meaning. He started teaching law on YouTube in 2017 when barely anyone believed serious law education could be taught online. What began as free semester lectures slowly became the seed of The Law of India Academy — later Courtroom by TLOI. From there, everything was built from scratch — the name, the credibility, the ranks, the reviews, the results — all organically. Over the years, he has: Trained 2,000+ lawyers and judges across India. Built TLOI’s offline and online ecosystem single-handedly. Produced three NLSAT Rank 1s. Taught full syllabi for DULLB, NLSAT, CLAT, and the Judiciary. Sponsored and run a special school for children with disabilities, founded by his mother in 1996, and fully supported by TLOI since 2020. Sahaj’s teaching style is not formulaic. It’s deeply personal. He treats every student as an individual mind, shaping how they read, reason, and express. He calls teaching a sadhana — a form of spiritual practice — and that is why his classes are not just about scoring high; they’re about thinking clearly, living fully, and becoming someone who commands respect in any room.
The Mentorship Philosophy The TLOI CLAT–AILET Mentorship is not just a coaching program. It is a carefully designed, high-rigour ecosystem that mirrors the mental training lawyers go through inside top national law universities. You don’t just attend classes — you go through training cycles.
Each week: Wednesday & Thursday – Concept and Practice Classes Friday – Full-Length Timed Test + Discussion Every test is analyzed. Every student is tracked. Every weakness is addressed. We don’t believe in random test series or blind repetition. We believe in growth through insight — your reading speed, inference ability, and articulation are sharpened week after week.
No Discounts. No Exceptions.
Everyone pays the same fee — ₹1,50,000 (inclusive of 18% GST). We never offer coupons, referral codes, or artificial price cuts. Because this program is not a commodity — it’s a commitment. Every student you sit with has earned their place and paid the same price. That’s how trust, equality, and discipline are preserved inside our classroom. When you pay, you are not just buying lectures — you are entering a mentorship lineage that began in 2019 and continues through every TLOI Rank 1.
